Mindfulness is a type of meditation that focuses on being aware of the present moment with gratitude and without judgment. Both meditation and mindfulness have been shown to have very positive effects on your mind-body, brain and well-being.

Through the act of meditation, we can reach levels of mind that will elevate the mental state which creates calm, leading to positive emotions. Positive emotions ignite the brain to produce chemicals that are healing to the entire body. Meditation through mindfulness is the fastest way to good all-around health, with attention and acceptance.
Attention is about tuning into your experiences to focus on what’s happening in the present moment. It typically involves directing your awareness to your breath, your thoughts, the physical sensations in your body and the feelings you are experiencing.
Acceptance involves observing those feelings and sensations without judgment. Instead of responding or reacting to those thoughts or feelings, you aim to note them and let them go. No judgments!
